RGA-5 Analytical Test Cart (RGA-5/ATC)

The RGA-5 Analytical Test Cart (RGA-5/ATC) is a mobile, cleanroom-compatible system developed and field tested by certified professionals at QAM. The cart is engineered for fast and cost-effective system testing for H2, CO, CO2, CH4 and non-methane hydrocarbons in single-digit parts per billion (ppb) ranges. In both process and non-process gas systems, the cart's advanced, self-contained mobile design allows it to be disconnected and moved to different test points without purge gas interruption, sample line contamination, or power interruption.

  Typical Applications
  • Gas manufacturing plant quality control
  • Gas distribution system monitoring
  • Purifier, valve and other components testing
  • Ultra-pure gas research
  • Truck load certification
Reasons to Own a RGA-5/ATC
  • The cart is completely mobile, equipped with all necessary on-board gases for calibration and operation.
  • It eliminates power and purge gas interruption as well as sample line contamination.
  • It provides in situ testing of inert and process gas systems anywhere in the facility, including the cleanroom at the process tool.
  • The patent pending manifold design allows one sample to be tested while another is being prepared.
  • It provides valuable trend analysis, using customized LabView data acquisition software.
  • It automatically integrates, compares and provides complete, computerized reports from test data within minutes.
  • It can download test data information, referring to a remote database for review and analysis.
  • It helps your facility meet the strict quality control standards required for ISO 9000 certification.
  • It is cleanroom-compatible, constructed with polished stainless steel.
  • Analyzer zero and span can be performed automatically.
  • It features a simple, low-maintenance design.

A New Standard for Convenience and Cost-Effectiveness
Mobile and completely self-contained, the RGA-5/ATC can be moved and connected to any test point in your system, which offers an attractive, economical approach
to testing and trouble-shooting for impurities in bulk gas streams wherever they occur – quickly and efficiently. The cart incorporates a patent-pending manifold
system that increases both the speed and cost-efficiency of operations by allowing purging of contamination from sample lines at the analyzer prior to testing. For increased productivity, the manifold also supports testing one sample point while preparing for the next. The RGA-5/ATC is capable of measuring impurities such as H2, CO, CO2 CH4 and non-methane hydrocarbons in nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrogen and oxygen gas streams, from percent to single ppb concentrations. The cart's high sensitivity and fast response time are suitable for a variety of applications including gas manufacturing plant quality control, gas distribution system monitoring, component testing (purifiers, valves etc.), ultra-pure gas research, truck load certification, and in situ testing at process tools.
